  • Mark Minicozzi – Co-Founder | Professional Manager & Player Developer

    Mark Minicozzi is a former professional player and co-founder of AZ Elite who has spent the last five years managing in the Atlantic League. During his managerial career, over 37 players have been signed directly off his teams, with more than 50 players going on to play in Major League organizations. Mark works closely with numerous former big leaguers and continues to develop both hitters and fielders, placing a strong emphasis on preparation, accountability, and the mental side of the game. His focus is on developing complete players who are prepared to compete and succeed at the professional level.

  • Chad Miller – Co-Founder | The Baseball Science Guy

    Chad Miller is a co-founder of AZ Elite and is widely known as “The Baseball Science Guy.” He has worked extensively with professional athletes, Major League Baseball organizations, and top collegiate programs, specializing in data-driven hitting development. Chad blends biomechanics, force-plate analysis, swing analytics, bat fitting, and high-speed video to create individualized training plans that help players move more efficiently and perform at an elite level. His approach is centered on helping athletes understand their bodies, their swings, and how to turn measurable data into real on-field results.

  • Alan Thomas – Director of Strength & Performance

    Alan Thomas is the Director of Strength and Performance at AZ Elite and brings multiple decades of experience developing Major League and professional athletes. A former Head Strength Coach for the Chicago White Sox, Alan specializes in combining new-age technology with functional mobility, strength, agility, and performance systems designed for the modern athlete. Known for his relentless work ethic, Alan prides himself on giving players the best opportunity not only to reach the big leagues, but to excel once they get there.

  • Heather Keepers – Operations & Player Relations

    Heather Keepers oversees operations and player relations for AZ Elite, playing a critical role in the organization’s structure and execution. She manages logistics, scheduling, communication, and event coordination, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for athletes, families, coaches, and staff. Heather’s attention to detail and commitment to organization allow the development team to stay focused on what matters most — player growth, performance, and opportunity.
